Who can enrol?
Our programmes are designed for maritime students, graduates, working professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs and employees of maritime and logistics organisations.
Are the courses completely online?
Courses identified as online can be accessed through the academy’s learning platform. Individual course pages will explain the format, access period and any live components.
Do I need previous technology experience?
Not necessarily. Beginner and foundation programmes introduce the required concepts progressively. Any prerequisites will be clearly stated on the course page.
Are the courses self-paced?
Courses identified as self-paced can be completed according to the learner’s schedule within the stated access period.
Will I receive a certificate?
Eligible learners receive a certificate of completion after satisfying the lessons, activities and assessment requirements stated for the programme.
Are the certificates accredited qualifications?
IMA Tech Academy certificates confirm completion of the relevant academy programme. Unless a programme expressly states otherwise, a certificate is not a professional license, academic degree or professional membership. IMA Tech academy is accredited by Skill Development Council Canada.
